It doesn't work that way in this game.

Do we get frequent flyer miles on the winners we post? I dont care if you think I like or dont like him. You will say what you want just to discredit a horse, poster. I dont care if I get credit for liking him. I just want that horse to prove naysayers wrong about him being slow and shitty.

Signature change time? I know a good one.

I'm thinking if you help me on the inner and I help you at Tampa...we are bound to make a mint this winter:D

FYI, the NEW way to say things, in a cool manner, would be

We can be ballin this winter....

And why would he listen to you at Tampa, Bigs lights your ass up

The inner track is perhaps the single best betting meet of the year..Finally I get to recoup all of BTW's horrenedous overrated trip horses for sure fired juiced horses and juiced track winners.. Actually I really can't wait for late March early April when the Contessa type inner speed ballz stink up the main..Frankly if you can stomach NOT betting Belmont and SPA you can actually beat the takeout! Something an idiot like I could never handle.

I love TB also especially that 16k allowance 1 1/16 turf race where the 8 claimers pop in and steal on the lead

there was nothing awful or over the top about your inner track posts.
but since you run around in hyper critical mode regarding what certain people post, especially if you deem it to be a red-board, then i think its fair game.

good job on your battle with pg!!! you really showed him.

Let me clarify something here.....DaHoss NEVER bragged on here about his huge run on the inner last year. I was the one who said here how unbelievably well he did last year. Anything he said was after I opened my big mouth.

Why do people care on here what other people claim to have done or not done?

Dr. Watson 12-02-2008 06:36 PM

I once bet every horse that Jeff Odintz saddled for an entire year and a half.

There's actually a very legitimate reason for this. We're on a message board/forum of many others, nearly all of us pretty much anonymous. In order to justify the time spent here, rather than some other forum elsewhere or none at all, I need to think that for me to learn anything from others here, I have to begin with whose opinions to value more highly.
We all win wagers that we didn't bother to post here. But, if we were always redboarding, or saying "yeah, I was thinking about that horse, remember, before I changed my mind and bet the favorite?", then it would warp our perception of the relative strengths and weaknesses of the forum group. We would then assign more significance to the posts of the wrong people. We would then be more susceptible to learning from the wrong people their wrong headed thinking
