SportyFans...while you break from giddy-up wid dat hawsey!...I wish to bring you what you expect from this fine poster.....to take you where no other NerdyTrail consorter can.

Do you sincerely try to put yourself in other peoples place? Whether they are known or unknown, whether their circumstance appeals to you or not....do you do this thing?

Ah do.

A lot.

You begin to fill with things ..things not there before.Among other revelations, you find yourself thinking about people who dropped a line which became quoted for eternity.

Philosophers, and those who weren't philosophers but did do some amateur philosophoing, looked at things--like a radar set does. All kinds of things;nature, the universe, God,institutions, people of all sorts and their societies, historical events.....and yer what not.

Then they got feedback into their noodles about these things...like a radar set.

Then....they washed it all through their noodle and it caused them to speak out a thought.A radar set would only paint at this point. It's not that smart.

But these people then became known for all time because their study and thought about some entity made them make an observation that someone thought quite cool.

Like..........."this day shall live in infamy"...."know thyself"....."ah thank--therefo ah is"...."through nature the mind realizes itself"..."the task of poetry is to overcome government"........and on and on.

Well...having gone through the same process,I have come up with my own quote which I do believe will make me famous for all time.

And that quote is....

...."is it me????"

That's pretty much what I think of it all.

And so..I must now return to where I exist and see what has happened.Left early today and have not been back.Too many pseudo experiences on top of the real.

Oh..if I find out Sharon Doubiago isn't dead....am going to have her here as a guest.

All that said....let's take a listen to something, shall we?

Hope it sounds good..the original I can't find.Did like the video here, so I hope it's does sounds good.

I lived in New Hampshire from 5th - 12th grade. Depends where in NH, there is nothing in upstate NH near the Candadian border. It's pretty down near the ocean and the Conway area is nice. Concord isn't so great. Goffstown is nice.

New Hampshire-"Live Free or Die" state. My friend lives in one of the small towns outside of Concord. She and her husband love it there.

A limerick:
There once was a man they called Clyde
Who said he had nothing to hide
But a woman did mention
He had plenty of tension
And used it to give her a ride

What kind of information do you want?

Moose hunting licenses are given out by lottery...does that help?

geeker2 05-11-2010 11:50 AM

The New Hampshire Lottery is the oldest, legal lottery program in the United States.

I think this is important to consider Clyde!

The nose of the Old Man of the Mountain fell off a few years ago.

He had rhinoplasty.

I am not interested in winning a moose.

I am not in interested in your memories of your formative years.

I am interested in what an adult, might help if it's an immature adult, has to say about one of these states....what they like and what they don't like and would they move if they could or is it just the best place anywhere.

Am sorry---did not mean to sound harsh.

I think this is all getting nowheres ....very fast.

Perhaps the answer rests up high...with the stars.Maybe I will wait for one of the high skies...so crispy clear....and wish on the biggest twinkler...and click the heels of my ravaged steel toes together....and wish for that place beckoning me,yet hiding from me.

If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I?

Everyone better leave..I'm getting sappy again.

Well, when I said there was nothing in upstate NH, that included jobs.

In the lower part of the state, the cost of living is extremely reasonable and everyone that I know there enjoys it very much and I haven't heard the job market is terrible.

Of course, everyone can tell you wonderful things, but the reality for you can be different once you get there. When I moved to VA, it was much more challenging to find a job than I expected...but it worked out and I love it. I'm a firm believer that only you will know if something is right for you, no matter what other people tell you. I was told KY would be heaven on earth for me when I moved there several years ago since I like racing and horses so much, but it was not for me.

Sorry I am not more help!

You do raise a salient point ,though.Am beginning to think no place will be right for me.I think I have to slit the dimensional curtain and look there...feel a sudden compelling draw.I belong where there is nothing to belong .

N.H. has lots of pine trees and mountains. You can see the stars quite well from atop the mountains.
Pine trees produce sap so you can be "sappy" together.:{>:

Rileyoriley 05-11-2010 07:49 PM

Retail sales in N.H. have increased since MA. increased the sales tax, especially liquor and cigarettes. N.H. does have high property taxes but if you're not planning to buy, it shouldn't affect you.
