A dumb one too but not too surprising a frustration foul. The terrible calls in the first half took their toll in the second half.

Gasol and Odom are amazing shot blockers at home and the Nuggets foul every time they contest a shot.

I don't even know what you guys are arguing, just that it seems like you are both arguing the same thing.

WTF is Kobe trying to draw a foul at the end for? That was lame, just hand the ball over with one second.

That is something that refs will almost always call
and the players and coaches all know it.

There are a bunch of rules that are not exactly in the books.
Down low you can beat people up. Try the same sort of stuff
away from the basket, a foul every time.

Some guys travel almost everytime they catch the ball out high
while on the run. As long as it does not give them an advantage
never called. Try the same stuff in college... traveling.

Agreed.
Not necessary.

Maybe something was going on during the game.
Trash talking... something.

Challenging Gasol without totally getting
separation with body contact is stupid. He is
7' 2" ,quick, and long.

As far as defending the point guard, my point was made over the last two games. Rafer alston scores 18 and 26. If lebron is supposed to be defending, then he cant defend him. If he can defend him, then he simply is NOT defending him or else he wouldnt be scoring 26 points. Either way, im right and you are looking more and more foolish trying to hold on to this stupid position.

give it up....everybody with the refs. I'm sick of this. all of it.

Why? Because it's the 6th foul? Because fkn birdbrain MARK JACKSON flapped his lips? He's not got his feet set. If you're gunna call a charge on that then there would be hell of a lot of charge calls. He doesn't own that spot. He's not squared up to him for a charge. Feet n' body still moving. Like I said, if that can be called a charge, you'd have to go back n' say they missed a ton of charge calls.

horseofcourse 05-27-2009 11:03 PM

Whatever Coach Pants says is the final word. HE pretty much knows everything about everything about everything beyond that as well.

Are you blind or just a Lakers fan? Having your feet set means nothing when all contact is instigated by the offensive player's elbow/forearm. If all contact was cause of the defensive player not having position then you could have a point, but you're so far off the mark here.

horseofcourse 05-27-2009 11:07 PM

Contact was caused because he moved in his way. He's not set. He's trying to take a spot when he doesn't have his feet set(and his body is still moving...just like the offensive player's body was moving.) It's just a blocking foul that people don't like, because it's a 6th foul. Doesn't matter what you think. You want to call a charge on that, then think how many there would be each game.

Those LA fans who showed up near the end of the first half and left with four minutes to play are chanting MVP at a guy who just scored 22 points with 7 turnovers and already decisively lost the MVP award a month ago. F*cking clueless lemmings.

So anytime someone is on defense you just dribble to either side and knock them on their ass with your forearm? Yeah, somehow I'm guessing you never played much basketball.

Yeah, and it led to 8 turnovers last night when the officials actually called it or made it a no call.

He's on his a-s-s, cuz he tried to take a spot without being there long enough to establish position. Happens all the time, and it's a block. Funny you're so worried about a forearm when NENE is doing all kind of thuggery every game he plays in. You didn't get your call. You'll get it in Denver. You didn't lose by a couple, but bitch away.

Many of those turnovers were bad passes, not the initiation of contact. He got the benefit of a lot of those calls.

Dwight Howard doesnt get so lucky

You're trying to compare a guy driving throwing his forearm at a defender who is just shifting to get into position to a guy in the post using his forearm to maintain his position? I don't even know what to say but to loosely paraphrase Shaq and ask "Scuds, tell me how Kobe's dick tastes"?

No doubt. Lebron certainly gets all the calls, not sure where you thought I wasn't saying that was the case.

It was a horribly reffed game tonight and sadly it was predictable. Wait til tomorrow night if you think this is bad. I wonder how many crab dribbles we will see.

Denver had to play a perfect game tonight regardless of how bad the lakers pplayed. They didnt.

Just like the Lakers had to play a perfect game on Monday night.

The refs have always been horrendous in the NBA. Lets not forget that one of them was busted for fixing games.

LOL. I think it's more of an east coast hurt ***** thing for the Lakers with a few of these people rather than Kobe f.ucking some white whore in Denver.

Denver didn't have to play a perfect game, they just had to play a very good one. Unfortunately they showed up and played a really poor one which made things impossible with the officiating. JR Smith had plenty of good looks down the stretch that he choked on like Scuds with Kobe's cock in his mouth. Giving up the 3 point plays when they did and had to know the officials were going to call it was just stupid and then throwing technicals on it was even stupider. I have faith that they'll get it together and win easy in Game 6 and then make it a Game 7 for the ages.

True. Sad though. The product has evolved so that it doesnt need to ride one or two stars anymore.

Any series with any of these four teams would make for a great final.

It's all about the dolla dolla bill yall. An Orlando-Denver series would be a ratings disaster.

I still think David Stern would rather walk on the court and shoot Dwight Howard in game 5 than have him play in the finals.

Nuggets will win game 6 (course I thought sure the Celts would win at home, and they didn't.) They need to stop being undisciplined. When thugs act like children, it's just throwing fat in the fire. You saw how Odom seemed to relax when he saw them losing their minds. This has always been a problem for this coach. He lets his players get too much into "them" (instead on concentrating on what they can control.) He needs to be telling everyone to be smarter(not complaining about refs...when you lose by this much..it is more than the refs.)

yes, as he is without question the worst shooter in NBA history, and the league has mandated he win championships every single year. cleveland has so many titles because of this mandate it is unfathomable. the cavs are going for their 6th title in a row this year. I can see why everyone has such outrage for that team. In a couple years they'll be real close to the Lakers and Celtics for total championships. With the league mandate, I think they may have as many as Boston after this year.

Obviously that is true. So true in fact that the league took away his game 4 technical foul. More proof of the league conspiracy to hand Cleveland their 5th straight title this year. That league ruling aids Cleveland extensively I think. I have that right I think.

With Turkoglu playing, you'll see a near infinite amount of crab dribbles. If we're lucky, they'll call one of them, I'm not holding my breath though.

Howard will commit his standard 15 to 20 fouls and everyone will cry like a baby when he actually gets called for his 6th!!

It's all in the eye of the beholder baby on where the conspiracy lies. I know where it lies. Not where everyone thinks it lies. 45 years running??

I find what I read here to be comedy in the highest form. It is beyond comical for me to sit here and read that the league is mandating a Cleveland championship.
