I think I'm done underestimating the Celtics. Howard looked a lot worse against them than LeQuit did. Hard to stop all 4 of their guns. The Cavs stopped Pierce effectively but it hardly fazed the Celtics. Garnett destroyed them. Garnett and Rondo slowed up a bit...no worries.

26-26 FT's through 3 quarters. 10-0 in the 4th quarter in favor of the Magic. I'm sure the Celtics suddenly started fouling way more than the Magic. Totally. WWF is all it is.

You Boston fans are tough crowd if this guy doesnt get a little credit. The defensive game plans for these last two series have been masterful.

Celts need to cool the sweep verbage. Get the third one quietly without the 'tude and then you get to play for a possible 4th. No BS just shut up and play.

He's got a 90% approval rating from me. He still makes some odd decisions from time to time, but he's obviously morphed into a top 10 coach, maybe top 5. A lot of the defensive plans come from Thibs, who may finally get a HC job this offseason.

Pierce sounded like someone out of the old WWF right after the final horn. Rivers brought it up in his presser, Rasheed on the radio with Glen Ordway

Pierce said "we're coming home to close it out" to the Celtic fans because he was amped, I didn't hear Doc say anything about a sweep and if you take what Sheed says seriously I dunno what to tell ya.

Sheed has actually been pretty impressive a couple times this post season and he has kept the lid on when baited which he never has done. The Pierce stuff is classic bulletin board stuff that they can do without. If I was Orlando I would force those guys to listen to those quotes over and over until it got a reaction on Saturday. Celts are in a good place and don't need to lose any of the edge they have earned. Nobody bleeds green deeper than I having season tickets in the family back to Don Gillis in the black and white TV years. I just don't want them to screw this up though 32-0 when leading 2-0 is something to keep you warm at night til Sat.
