Told you Buffalo would be tough. They are clones of Cleveland. Their blowout loss to Minnesota was an abberation, before that they had two wins and overtime losses to KC, Pittsburgh (which they won), and Baltimore. HIllis is a great player but he has to fix his fumbling. He is a fumble machine. I think that was the last start for Jake in the city of Cleveland. I'm sure McCoy will be ready to go next week. I don't think the Bengals are as good as Buffalo, but will not be easy either.

clyde 12-12-2010 11:20 PM

Yes, were right on the button abill the Bouts...I mean about the Bills.

Hillis does have the equivalent of wide receiver butterfingers...needs e-poxy hands.

The Homie must goie!!

The guy is a disaster.

But I am pretty doggone convinced that with either of the 2 remaining qb's,the Browns will beat the Bengals here at home...given they can play the game.

The Mother of all Blizzards has begun.

And the watah is out!!

Fucl<age!!

clyde 12-13-2010 11:42 AM

So an 80 year old man attending his 87 year old wife's funeral normally isn't packing heat on his airplane ride? who knew.

NTamm1215 12-13-2010 01:00 PM

Is the horsey QB still nursing a bad wheel? They at least seemed to play pretty well with him.

The stench that was the Cavs visit to my fair city on Saturday night is just beginning to subside.

Straight from the raidio..sounded like the horsey will be in the gate Sunday.

horseofcourse 12-16-2010 08:26 AM

Evidently Bob Feller really did die now. So much so he got another separate sporty thread. My sources need to get better.

horseofcourse 12-16-2010 08:27 AM

Evidently the Cadavers played the talents of South Beach much tougher last night in South Beach but still lost. Still collecting ping pong balls though. Yea!!

I thought deja vu was happening again.

Now I know why.

The frightening thing is the whole team is bringing their talents back here now.

clyde 12-16-2010 05:31 PM

The Horsey will start the remainder of the games this season.

This is good.

He reminds me of a bigger Brian Sipe...and more of an athlete.

So we'll see.

Now that it's official, I can only think of freak season ending injury in the 1st quarter in Cincy.

horseofcourse 12-17-2010 01:16 PM

Let me get out my calculator since basketball season is officially over, time to turn to the Tribe. Two more years of Choo?? We'll have to trade him that 3rd year since we won't be able to pay him (Scott Boras), and 5 more years of Santana at most (if he is able to walk that is)?? I'm thinking 2012 is the year to focus on.

This is so true.

With the Tribe...the future is never too out there.

Biut with the radical mess pro and now big time college sports are and the fans letting their fantacism feed this evil...who cares?

It's fun. I like the dichotomy of the Tribe and the Cavs. the Tribe develops and nurtures massive amounts of incredible talent and every single one leaves because they can't afford them. The Cavs have a filthy rich owner who will pay massive amounts to anyone, especially one particular guy and that one guy leaves anyway. The ownership attitude between the two are polar opposites, and the results of the teams are exactly the same. I find it interesting.

clyde 12-18-2010 04:40 PM

No,I do agree with your view. I only said to say.. if misplaced interests by fans weren't there.....the pay scale would be very painfully adjusted and so much of the nonsense would stop.

I agree, but the whole thing is simply our world in miniature. The rich keep getting richer. Sports is an easy outlet. Most of us play them as kids. So we sort of understand what is going on out there. I would love to abstain, but I just can't. Just like I can't never buy anything made in China. It's nearly impossible not to do that. When the Akron whore came to play in Salt Lake a couple years back, I took my family to see the Cavs and we had a great time. Every three or four years when we visit extended family in Ohio I'll take them to a Tribe game. I am fully aware of the fact that I care more about a Cleveland win than 95 percent or more of the players wearing the laundary.

clyde 12-18-2010 05:00 PM

!!OOOOOOOOOO!!

Mount Union/Wisconsin Whitewater in another D3 championship game classic playing in their 6th straight title game. Mount in trouble.

clyde 12-18-2010 06:03 PM

Phooey..checked the score and ah don't thank so.

horseofcourse 12-19-2010 04:20 AM

Cavs got a win this month. It seems pretty late in December to be getting to that first win.

clyde 12-19-2010 09:45 AM

spit!!

Millions of Canadians don't care.

clyde 12-19-2010 02:11 PM

Missed the first 4 minutes of the first half, but unfortunately saw the rest.

Their lines are jumping the Browns'

The Browns look like bowling pins on defense....game has "loss" written all over it.

clyde 12-19-2010 02:55 PM

And so it is written.

D was pathetic. They didn't give up any touchdowns but Bengals didn't punt until late in the 4th quarter. They ran at will. Only bright spot was the horsey. He is still looking like a pretty nice qb potentially. How many consecutive times will they have to get stopped on 3rd and 1 inside the 5 yard line before they discover they may have to try something different? Maybe a little horsey rollout??

Oh, roll outs on 3rd and 1 never work....never

Don't be ridiculous.

The Browns Offensive Subordinator knows what he's doing.

clyde 12-26-2010 02:47 PM

The Hawsey.....needs glasses.

phooey!!

horseofcourse 12-26-2010 09:50 PM

They're severely out-talented most all the games they play. Mangini has done a pretty nice job in my opinion. It's too bad they'll fire him. Horsey needs some work. December football in Cleveland is ugly. On the bright side, the Cavs accomplished a nearly impossible feat. Getting swept in a season series by the Timberwolves.

clyde 12-26-2010 10:03 PM

The Cavs......hopeless as they stand now,I'm afraid.

The Hawsey was pushed to answer the question.."You never played in weather like this. How do you think you will do>"....earlier last week.

He finally said..'I guess we'll see."

Boy did we.

No, Mangini shouldn't be fired.....and I really don't think Holmgren will do it,but we'll see.

horseofcourse 12-28-2010 04:51 PM

First LeBron leaves the Cavs, now Jawad Williams. I am now officially without hope.

clyde 12-28-2010 07:14 PM

Oh gosh...where'd he take his Rareless talents to?

They just dumped his talents on the street. His lack of presence led to a 15 point loss to the Magic. I think it was actually tied after 3 quarters. Evidently a strong finish was lacking!!
