Yeah but I'm working at the same time and dealing with my son and having horsie break all at once so it was easier to wonder for now.

Okay I just posted yesterday that I don't chit chat on this thread so yes I am a hypocrite but I really wanted to know and appreciate it.

Start Your Glitter in what sounds like an absolutely horrific fall at Delta Downs last month...

He was a 7 year old gelding and was running for a 4k tag.

Poor guy. Run in peace.

War of the World, a 9 year old gelding, at Doncaster after falling in a 3 mile race...

This was his 26th start.

His record was 3-4-2... he had won his very first race. It was all the way back in March of 2006.

I hope he didn't suffer. Rest in peace.

This thread.

I've had enough of the insults, rude pm's and nasty comments so congrats... you guys win.

If anyone would care to add the rest of the names for the year that would be nice.

If not it's fine.

Well done, gentlemen.

I give up.

:(

i'm amazed at people who get a kick out of bullying others. so sorry mmsc that you've gotten some shoddy treatment.

Rileyoriley 12-16-2011 06:41 PM

Ditto what Deb said. I'm not on here every day but will try to fill in any names I see.:(

Anyone (especially the international group) can feel free to pm me any losses and I'll post them. Deb

I know they were mentioned elsewhere but I don't see them here:

MMSC:

The trash that have upset you refuse to recognize that this is a team sport. They have no regard for the most important member of the team. The horse. Without the horse we have no racing. Period.

This same trash would never say to your face what they wrote to you because they are lacking a set of round ones.

Please reconsider keeping up with your thoughtful work here. You Miss Cat are all class. Please do not let anyone make you lose sight of that.

"DITTOS"

my miss storm cat, don't let the turkeys get you down. Your diligence has honored and recorded the passing of the horses. Often, I've wondered what happened to a particular horse, and (unfortunately) find the answer here. Many times a horse's demise isn't recorded in the online "news" publications. Thanks for your efforts.

Arletta 12-17-2011 08:54 AM

MMC, you can't quit. You can't.

I agree with all the above... there are quite a few of us here that actually like and appreciate what you do for this place.

clyde 12-17-2011 02:26 PM

Yes she can.

clyde 12-17-2011 02:26 PM

Kidding.

Honest.

Same here. I hope you won't quite because of a couple of . . .

For what it's worth on an internet forum, you have my support and gratitude and respect.

Military Hawk, at 24, due to colic, as always fighting ‘til the end. 86-18-15-19, he raced until age 10 and was the 1992 Washington State Handicap Horse of the Year. He won his last race by a head with Gary Stevens aboard, “all out, driving.” Stevens said he was "a real War Horse."

His owner passed two months ago.
