The withdrawal of Sweet Hearth from her first preference in the Dirt Mile leaves a spot open for either Karelian or Mr. Sidney, both of whose first choices are the Mile, or for Ready's Echo, who is pre-entered solely in the Dirt Mile.

Both are hopeless.

He was bred in ARG, so its more than likely he's not nominated. Given his last (where admittedly, he was banged around pretty good on the first turn), they probably aren't looking to shell out massive nomination fees.

However, I would give the horse a long look if he shows up a couple of weeks later in the Citation at Hollywood.

As written above, Mr. Sidney will run in the Dirt Mile. It's likely 5 of the "AE's" for the Dirt Mile will make the race.

Still think he's hopeless.

I think Mr Sidney would have had a decent (better shot at least) in the turf sprint. I know one of these is a grade 1 and the other not even graded, but he already has a Grade 1 win on his resume. This is the kind of race (Turf Sprint) that would set up ideally for him pace wise.

I have a good friend who is part of the Obviously NY Stable. They just got word that Canadian Ballet is a go for the downhill turf.

Jon White is so clueless I wonder how he has his position?? The best is when he comes on ATR's and tells you about his big wager on a 2 to 5 shot because he thought it was an overlay.. have a friggin heart Mr White
