I think it safe to say by now that this petition is a colossal failure.

Mortimer 08-13-2007 09:56 PM

Well that's for sure Hossy..I certainly didn't think many would sign off....and as a pct. of regular posters...they certainly did not.

But it was more than 2 which is a whole lot more than I would have guessed.

At this time I would like to thank very much all those who showed great courage and support in doing so.A special thanks to my sweetie-pie,UnclyTrust, for starting the thing in the first place.

I will begin the weening off process and pack my bags Wednesday.

Gee,Steve...it would only have been for 2 days.

LLLLOVE those seminars Steve!

Swag should be stitched in our memory.

Of course living in an old store front right in front of the red light at North Mantua Street and the sr 43 turn off in Kent produced some mighty interesting spurs of the moment.

But those aren't really dates.

And they weren't bad....except for 3 or 4.

I still can't talk about those.

Mortimer 08-13-2007 10:29 PM

uh-oh.

Lost in threads again.

Ya just can't send me out for strawberry bushes..that's fer DEM SHOO!

Mortimer 08-14-2007 08:12 AM

Steve;

As the last hours are marked away..let me mention the two most mystical horseys of all time for me were OneFourDave and DJ'sMarineBoot.

I cannot say why as it would cause such a flood of tears as to shut the site down.

So all this time you keep this natural, kind, poor man locked in the catacombs of this site.

It's tantamount to taking away the beauty aids used by female posters here.

It's a pretty friggin' scary thought.

Mortimer 08-14-2007 08:23 AM

Did you know I speak the language of the animals ,Steve?

Ah do.

I can talk to them all...and they all love me.Wuffies are my special friends, but horseys I understand just as well.

I protect them ..they seek me out when ill.

Oh but so what...aye?

The Indomitable DrugS 08-14-2007 08:24 AM

Mortimer, why are you so jealous of my humility?

Begging the Nero's...I mean the Druggies pardon????

Mortimer 08-14-2007 08:29 AM

Why not take Sighty-Poo out so she can see what a really bad date is?

You could do the same for Dispencer after that.

The Indomitable DrugS 08-14-2007 08:35 AM

I'd make that lawyer guy seem like Mr. Perfect

Would I not?

And Mortimer,

I share the same birthday as the great Octavian Ceaser Augusts

But.....

I am much more Caligula than Nero

After all.....didn't he try to elect his horse as the leader of the senate?

He must have been Rome's version of Discreet Cat

Mortimer 08-14-2007 09:01 AM

Oh my God.

This thread is in need of an eloquent waxing.

I must show Stevie-Poo the aesthetic that I am who he holds down in these cattycombs.

And erase the snottings of Druggy-Poo and his feline horsey.

Late Fires 08-14-2007 09:11 AM

Steve,

After reading Morty's heartwarming Dollar Billy poetry and his touching bad date story, coupled with his distaste for gelf and the New York Yankees, I think it would be heartless of you to keep him locked in these rooms.

After all, I believe it was the great Joseph Conrad who said, "All ambitions are lawful except those which climb upward on the miseries or credulities of mankind."

Your friend,

STEVE HASKIN

Mortimer 08-14-2007 09:28 AM

As warmth surrounds mine

I can think of no better time

When fires rage

And two become rhyme

All life's a stage

Once said the sage

And two can be one

One color of beige

Oils melt from rays of sun

Spoils felt from days undone

Burn deep and held strong

Eyes meet and see wanton

The B-3 holds the note so long

It sweeps the keys to release the throng

There is no reason and the truth is plain to feel

As the pale became emotion pent up from a song

And deep within we still cannot hide

And deep within we still cannot hide

THE END

I bow

paisjpq 08-14-2007 09:29 AM

bravo! encore!
