The Witnesses will come with that...."You would have never gotten this far without The FROZEN ONE!!!"
|
I thought he played pretty well for the most part. Not good enough however as they lost. What can you do?? I thought he took one ill-advised 3 when they were down 1, but he had made two straight at the time he took it. Biggest shot of the game was PJ Brown making an 18 footer to put them up 3...I can live with that. They designed a good play after that basket as LEBron off the triple team got it to West for a wide open 3 with no one within 10 feet of him, but he missed it too as LeBron did the possession before.
I didn't see too many horrible decisions by the team in crunch time. After that possession, the next time still down 3...LeBron drove to the basket and missed with contact from PJ Brown. Good call, not nearly enough contact to call a foul in a game 7, but the right play....after that fouls were aplenty. IN all honesty, the only questionable decision was the 3 by the frozen one when down 89-88 I think...my memory is frozen a bit...I think that did happen, and at the time he had made two straight from long range and was pretty hot at the time. I am not very smart however and am most likely mis-analyzing. I am happy with how the team played in this series. They played a team that won over 20 more games than them and were not out-classed in the series only having one bad loss in game 2. They had 2 really good opportunities in Boston to win games 1 and 7 but just weren't good enough. I will acquiesce to Morty and say James is the sole reason they lost the series as game 1 was the difference maker...he was beyond abysmal that game without question. He played ok in game 7 however...but game one was the one. I think they would not be as good a team without James however. (does that statement really make me a witness!!) |
You have come a long way ,HOC.
These things happen when you have a player/coach. He is a poor 3 point shooter as his 31.5% record showed throughout this season.....but that doesn't stop The FROZEN ONE........he took E-LEV-UN of them this game. But he did make 3. |
I do see where the TEAM PLAYER...The KINK....has proclaimed the team must get better and he will be talking to management about that.
Gosh I wish I was management. First thing I'd do is sell the team and have LOTS O MOAN-AY!! :) But seriously....I would say...."Oh yes,LeBron...whateveah you say. I agree." And then I would get together with all the teams in the league and work out the best 3 or even 4 team trade I could make. And James would be gone. :) :) :) |

The FROZEN ONE's 11 3 point attempts were 3 more than anyone else took on the team in total.
The teams worst 3 point shooter took more 3 point shots than anyone else took total shots on the team. Interesting. It's funny. Early in the game the FROZEN HEADS carped how LeBron needs help from his teammates..he was 4 for 10........and they showed the only other 4 guys to take shots were 0-3,0-2,0-2 and 0-1. Maybe if they were allowed to shoot anytime they felt like it......maybe they just might catch a hot streak. I do notice how the league will do anything to window dress James. There was more,too......but I don't want to upset the insane reading this. |
You guys are priceless!!

I said something untrue???? |

I'm longing for the halcyon days of John Lucas, Darius Miles, Ricky Davis, D'Juan Wagner, Chris Mihm, and that Bobby Sura was a much better 3 shooter than the frozen one. If only Sura could have been on the floor yesterday. |
No doubt James is the reason that they lost to the celts in 7. Without him, a PG who couldn't make the rotation in Seattle (West), a SG who peaked in the NCAA tourney 10 years ago(Wally World), an imposter who looks like Ben Wallace but doesnt play defense or rebound like him (wallace), a jean-Claude van Damme lookalike (Pavlovic), Kayne west lite (Damon Jones), a guy named boobie (Gibson), a guy who just busted out of NBA witness protection (Joe Smith), a russian mummy who shot under 30% from the field the last four games of the year (Ilgauskas), and the drummer from a hair band (Varejao), would have gone crazy.
I am really surprised you Cleveland fanatics never touched on the REAL problem with the team in the playoffs this year...... |

You learned sometime ago not to tangle with me.....but it looks like you have forgotten the sting of the long knuckle. You have behaved yourself...and now this. I will give you a few minutes to retract this incredibly empty headed post.... ...otherwise there's going to be a reminder for you about what that sting is like. |
While I'm waiting for PeanutShell to remove his head from the chopping block...let me remind you all of something.
I know most if not all of you love coming down on Cleveland...which is fine....really is. Just don't waste it on me----OK? Pro sports..if that's your game ...great. Be a shnook. Worship them.....rave about them......throw money at them and yank their cranks. Hey---ah don't cah! It matters not to me what any team does....Cleveland or otherwise.I don't know 90% of the players you people mention. But as far as The FROZEN ONE goes.......you all don't have to worship him. He does that enough all by himself----he'll tell you exactly how great he is. But I won't stand here and let that go by. He's an embarrassment to me. You all have a perfect right to make love to a sports icon....so go right ahead. Didn't like all that----did ya? Too bad. =:> |

I see you have made a suicidal decision. Good. Yes....The FROZEN ONE held Bostons in check the whole series...all by himself. Everyone knows one player can stop 5. The stellar team defensive credit ALL goes to James. AND...he sizzled Boston for an amazing 35.5% from the field....absolutely anihiliating them by nailing 23.1% on 3 pointers. Did you know he shot well over twice as many time as anyone else? And way ahead the leader in 3 pt. attempts?...even with those pathetic percentages. Oh yes...West is a pathetic point guard. Why did he look so good then? Why was Gibson their best 3 pt. guy? Why did double Z outplay Ray Allen? ( Who???) Oh yes...gosh Wallace stinks --doesn't he? Why Garnett averaged 40 points a game and was even 5-13 in the most important one. Excuse me...but what Z did the last 4 games of the season somehow escapes me regarding the playoffs. And,frankly, how can you not go to a ballhog shooting it 22 times a game clipping along at 35.5%? I'll put it this way. Maybe James didn't lose the series to Boston.........but can you say he won it? What? The greatest NBA player in history could not win this series? Gosh....I'm floored...really. All you pro coaches out there.......you can win a team championship...if you don't care who gets the credit. |

He's not going to shoot it 11 times like James did. We can't have that......MAINCOURSE. |
Oh PeanutShell.....when you are able to see what the masses cannot...and not merely join them in chirping out the same song............
....why you let me know. |
LeBron is Iverson on steroids.
Go ahead and get him some star players. Look how that's worked out for AI. Ballhogs never win. |

Oh Mr. SpentCartridge......I'm waiting for your reply.
Perhaps the reminder of how the long knuckle stings like the wasp keeps you away. Believe me...there 's more waiting for you where that came from. |
