Should be interesting to see how Cornell plays in the dome. That can be a very intimidating place, and the Big Red have already suited up there once this year and they're a senior dominated team. I give them a puncher's chance versus Kentucky. Plus, it's not like UK isn't going to vacate this tournament appearance anyway, so might as well give the underdog the chance to play a little longer.

I would've preferred to see them against Syracuse or Duke, as I think Kentucky's too athletic and deep for them, but Cornell has played two offensive games so far like nothing I've ever seen in the tournament. They've got a chance for sure, and I'd love to see them pull it off.

They'll score on Kentucky, the question is whether they can get stops and keep Cousins off the glass. It's doubtful but not impossible.

Here's their question....do they try to pound the glass on the offensive end or do they shoot and get back to stop the run outs? Should be a good game for 30 minutes, but I think athleticism and depth win out. But, I'm biased, so who knows....

Offensive rebounds won't be nearly as important as defensive boards for them. Pretty sure they'll outshoot Kentucky, but if Kentucky gets 10+ offensive boards, Cornell's shooting will be neutralized.

Tex Tech/Ole Miss under 157 110/100

Both teams play at a pretty fast pace, but also get to the line very infrequently plus shoot a relatively low number of 3's and to get over a total this high you need to get points with the clock stopped. I get closer to 150 as the "correct" line.

I gave 156.5, my guy played over... Under is looking decent right now, a lot of points the last 5 minutes of half though.

Bummer when you have it nailed and lose because of double OT.

You dont blame me? Thanks Phil. I lost 2.

philcski 03-23-2010 10:18 PM

Blame you? You didn't play the game. Your boy took the wrong side again and got lucky- keep booking his action (on the DL of course, keep telling him you're laying it off.) Nothing worse than losing an under because of OT, though.
