Im not sure Jeff Van Gundy wants to coach anymore, its been reported on ESPN that he has had offers, but enjoys what hes doing.

When you get ripped by the Knicks you have big problems.

Kidd just doesnt want to do the work that an NBA coach needs to do. It was a horrible idea in hindsight but the real question is who buys an NBA team and turns it over to Billy King? Deron Williams got hurt? KG and Paul Pierce are old? AK47 is hurt? Wow these are shockers...

I like Teletovic. Someone should try to steal him from King. Could be a solid stretch 4 like Ryan Anderson on the right team

So I'm watching Wizards/Bucks (dont ask why) and all I can say is that good seats are available in the Verizon Center. I don't know what the announced attendance is but it looks to be an intimate gathering.

NBA's top teams ATS so far this season...Portland at 15-5 with Phoenix 14-5-1 and Indiana coming in at 14-5

NBA's worst team ATS Cleveland at 5-14

Big Sunday
Kobe is back
Rudy Gay traded for a bag of balls
Pacers/OKC
Knicks disgraceful effort

Cant really expect much from Indiana after last nights game. Tonight is an obvious big time letdown spot.

Clearly thats because, like me, Vegas also loved Cleveland.

They were flat as you predicted.

All three losses are on the second night of back-to-backs. Big game at home against the Heat Tuesday night. It will feel like the playoffs for sure.

Indiana is clearly a huge threat to win the NBA championship. I believe they are the biggest threat to Miami in the entire NBA. I believe Miami would steamroll a team like OKC, Golden St or the Clippers. I believe they would beat San Antonio again and beat Houston. Its the Pacers who are the big threat to Miami.
I believe the Tuesday night game is much bigger for Indiana then it is for Miami. I dont care if Miami is the 1 or 5 seed come playoff time they show up. I think Indiana needs the home court and needs the confidence booster of beating them this year. I know Indiana played great in that series last year, but Miami still won and still won the Championship.

I know it was just an oversight but you forgot Portland.

Home court is vital. Pacers know it and that's been their focus all season. Every interview the coach and players give they talk about it. Gotta even out those calls that LeBron and Wade get somehow.

PS...Thanks for not picking them :-)

December games arent that important in the grand scheme. Indiana is really good but they are perhaps a bit enhanced by the Eastern Conference. The big question for Miami is going to be health as they have clearly been resting the older guys and Wade is already shaky though he has looked pretty good when he does actually play. I dont know that they have any assets or ability to add any help.

OKC is very dangerous as they have young guys who can play though I'd rather make a future book bet on them for next season. SA is still very good. I dont believe based on what I've seen this year the Clippers or Warriors can get through OKC or SA. Houston is a wild card but I'd still lean toward the others. Portland is playing great but they are lacking in front court depth and cant afford any injuries.

I like what they are doing, but I dont think they can beat OKC, San Antonio, Houston or Golden St in a playoff series. They might be able to beat the CLippers though. The West is the so deep, but its funny because the East has the 2 top teams in the NBA.

I think Miami shows up and wins tonight. I expect Paul George to have a giant game though.

I agree on the CLippers. I think Golden St and Houston are both the big wild cards come playoff time. I dont believe in OKC. They get dumptrucked by Miami or Indiana if they somehow make it out of the west.

Mike Woodson

Mike could be out tonight in NY. They are down 25-9 to the Cavs right now. After getting blasted by Boston on Sunday. I dont believe its Woodsons fault. I believe the roster is a joke and Carmelo is a total joke overrated gunner who plays no defense and is selfish.

OKC is really good. Jackson, Lamb and Adams are starting level players though short on experience. The key to the West may be who Houston gets for Asik. They are the one contender who in theory at least is going to add a big piece. Golden State is fun to watch but they arent getting out of 2nd round.

I disagree about Golden St. They are capable of getting hot at any time and in any playoff series winning all of the home games. Look at how well they played against the Spurs last year.
I agree about Houston. I think Harden is a top 5 player Howard a top 7 or 8 player and Parsons is the most underrated player in the entire NBA. Plus they will get something for the big guy like you said.
