And you forgot to call me a slur. I have to admit, I'm a mutt, so you have your pick of all your favorites. Which slur is your favorite when your just sitting around on a Sunday after church?

you keep talkin and talkin..how am I a bigot....you can't handle any religion because it cramps whatever style you suppose you have....I do not hate people(no examples of that anywhere, except in you mind)

I love you Lori, but you need to cut this blind defense of every Republican **** out.

Hey If I was prez back then.. i would have just carpet bombed all of saudi arabia since they were the ones backing 9/11. Bush has this gay love for the saudi's though which i cant stand.

Ya know what Joey, you are right. Iraq was not the place to go. We did not know that in 2003. Based on the info from 2003, the world thought Iraq was the place to go. But we needed to be a force in the middle east and we will need to still be a force in time to come. When 15% of the population over there would BLOW THEMSELVES UP just to kill some of us, we have a huge problem

Clear your name then and prove me wrong. What are your thoughts on gays? Do you approve of their lifestyle? Do you think religion can change them? What about different races?

And my issues with religion are that religions give people an excuse to do whatever they want, because God will understand. All you have to do is confess them to someone who probably molested a child and everything is all better. Well it's not. Not to mention your church allowed and covered up the abuse of children for decades. It's disgusting. And then you have the other religious wackos that bomb stuff because God told them to. I think religion preys on the weak and stupid (you) and brainwashes them.

Clear my name to you??...right! I'm not a Catholic..I left that church many years ago because it didn't have the answers! So far you've covered the catholics and muslims,Bravo...do you have a script or is this all you own invention? Gays have an alternative(not mainstream) lifestyle. Strange how the 3% of gays can wag the entire population, huh?
What the gays do isn't my concern,as long as they aren't legislated into benefits and put more of a burden on a system wilting as we speak. The whole gist of your post is the typical POV victim BS that says the Govt is responsible to take care of us. When that happens they also put their hands in your life. Great choice. And I don't remember calling you any specific name. But feel free to be insulted:D
btw...I'm pretty sure that the mods ruled that you can't use someones' post repeatedly in your posts, not that what I said doesn't stand on its own merit!

You dont think that gay partners should be able to get health insurance through company benefits like straight partners can?

You dont think they should be let into the ICU when their partner is sick or dying to be by their side?

You dont think when one partner dies, the other should be able to have the same rights and benefits as straight couples (especially when children are involved)?

Honestly, the republican view of homosexuality is cruel, wrong and sets us and our country back compared most other "western" countries.

John McCain, thank God, isnt bad with his opinion of this subject, sarah palin can kiss my white lesbo ass though about this.

Whether gay "marriage" is ever legal or not, I really could care less. The whole sanctity of marriage crap the repubs pull is laughable, considering Most people who get "married" arent even religious and the fact that more marraiges end in divorce than actually make it. Way to keep up that sanctity of marriage! ;) But gays need to be provided the same basic human rights that straight people have.

This conversation isn't meant for a message board, really. Sure, they should have their loved ones covered, but let's not put the cart before the horse..you deal with the legitimacy of relationships..i didn't start the damn thing! You have societal changes going on now that weren't in the forefront. So I'm not the poster boy for GLAAD,big deal! Still a country in change...

timmi, timmi, timmi-

You are in the minefield now. LOL. Stand up and defend your small minded beliefs.

It is your right as an American and your duty as a Republican.

I'm not going to hate on you. And I agree that the main reason gays are still treated un-equally has nothing to do with the "sanctity of marriage" lipservice but by the belief that people will take advantage of the system, and lie about relationships to get benefits. Eventhough I can just as easily see a man and a woman pull off the same scheme. And I know a few people who have married people they werent even with because of benefits and citizenship.

America is behind the ball on this one but that will change with time. It will change sooner than later also, I believe no matter who is president. When push comes to shove, it will be a state by state issue like it already is now.
