That was funny, big run.
http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/how-clima...-it-very-wrong I used to scoff, and would say stuff like 'when I was a kid, we were warned about another ice age, haha'. And then I decided to actually look into it all instead of just dismissing it out of hand. Besides, I'm not a science denier, so it made sense to think about it and learn about it. And as I've said before, here and elsewhere...we only have this one planet. If we muck it up, we have nowhere to move to. |

Hey, bigrun, you see this: http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/team-trum...ors-the-launch Now, that is sad.....but not quite as sad as Cruz, whose audience would have been fined at the ironically named liberty university had they missed his announcement at their weekly get together. |
Nooooooooooo..
http://www.msnbc.com/msnbc/coming-so...ce-the-10-bill Alexander Hamilton was awesome, don't take him off the money!! I know he's not as popular as washington or Jefferson, but that's probably because he was never president. The guy came from nothing, was no one...but he was a genius who really lived what we call the american dream. His story is amazing. too bad he was gone too soon. I'd have rather they use the obverse of a coin or something to add a new person, not take off a war hero , first treasury secretary, primary author of the federalist papers and founding father....who began life as an illegitimate child living in poverty and orphaned at a young age. |

Here's a heart warming story about our former president and currently the worst president in the history of the world:mad
George W. Bush charged wounded vets group $100k for speech. "You mean George Bush sends our soldiers into combat, they are severely wounded, and then he wants $120,000 to make a boring speech to them?" Trump wrote this morning. How bad are you if Trump badmouths you:eek: http://www.cnn.com/2015/07/09/politi...ech/index.html |

Judge mediating (and I use that term loosely) a parental visitation scuffle between divorced parents sends the kids to juvie because they don't want to have lunch with their father.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/t...see-their-dad/ I have no idea how this was even allowed to happen. The kids aren't plaintiffs in the case (the parents are the plaintiffs), and yet they lose their freedom because the judge considers them disrespectful. She should be disbarred. |

CNN: Republicans acknowledge they didn't properly vet Archuleta's qualifications
https://twitter.com/CNNPolitics/stat...67525659947008 That's right. The OPM Director who resigned/was fired in the wake of the hacking of 22.1 million current, former and prospective U.S. government employees, and their family members (you know, the one who mocked then presidential candidate Mitt Romney over his warnings about Chinese hackers and Russia’s status as America’s greatest geopolitical foe), who was nominated by President Obama and confirmed in a 62-35 vote (54 Dems and 8 Reps), wasn't properly vetted by Republicans. Ms. Archuleta: Mitt Romney's statements reveal "little understanding of what's going on in the 21st century." |

"Thanks to the Obama administration’s negotiations, Iran’s nuclear program will be under lock, key and camera 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The eyes of the international community are on every centrifuge, every ounce of uranium, in all of Iran’s nuclear facilities. Inspectors have “when needed, where needed” inspection rights to any Iranian military site suspected of being involved in the nuclear program."
-- Rep. Donald Beyer (D-VA) ![]() Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif |
"A 39-year-old state lawmaker from Bethesda was arrested in late June and charged with indecent exposure and trespassing after a dispute at the home of her ex-husband, according to court records.
A charging document said Del. Ariana B. Kelly (D-Mongtomery) was dropping off her children at her ex-husband’s house, in the 5300 block of Alta Vista Road in Bethesda, when she became upset that his fiancee was inside the residence. Kelly and Barak Sanford were divorced in November, according to court records. Sanford told police that Kelly started ringing the doorbell and banging on the door and that he asked her to leave. According to the charging document, Sanford played a cellphone video for police that showed Kelly ringing the doorbell “numerous times,” exposing her breasts in the direction of Sanford’s cellphone camera and then “with one breast in each hand [shaking] them up and down.” An officer who responded to the scene told Kelly that she could be arrested for indecent exposure and asked her to leave. According to the document, Kelly said: “Arrest me then,” and she extended her wrists toward the officer. Kelly, who was elected to the House of Delegates in 2010 and reelected last year, is a member of the Health and Government Operations Committee. She has been active in women’s rights and health issues, sponsoring a bill permitting midwives to assist at home births that passed the General Assembly in the spring. She is also a member of a legislative task force that is studying maternal mental health issues." http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/...059_story.html Kelly attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she studied History, Women's Studies, and TV/Film Production. Kelly has an extensive background in nonprofit management, media, and social service. In her early career, Kelly worked at Travelers Aid International, Girls Inc, and Legal Momentum. Kelly also produced PBS’ To The Contrary, a weekly news program. She covered a wide range of issues including state and federal legislation, business, education, health, and the environment. After leaving PBS, Kelly served as Executive Director at NARAL Pro-Choice Maryland, and as Environmental Health Campaign Director for MomsRising.org. |

well, folks have been begging for a candidate who doesn't exist on sound bites and a parroting of party lines...be careful what you ask for! Being an old man, I recall a candidate from the past who gained considerable traction using similar tactics to Trump...his name was George Wallace. Appealing to the dark side of human nature gets one short term support...thankfully even conservative republicans will eventually see behind the curtain.

Trump and Bernie Sanders making noise with the Dems. I think this shows you very clearly that people are disgusted with the status quo politicians lining their own pockets and their owners pockets at the expense of all of us. These 2 are not of that mold and all the others are regardless of the colors they wear.
