Any idea if the Woody Stephens is part of the pick 4?

It will certainly be in the Pick 4 if the prospective field enters.

FYI, it has been in the Pick 4 9 of the last 10 years, with the only exception being 2010. That running had a field of five.

Love, he probably is going to be second choice.

@DRFGrening: Always in a Tiz will skip Belmont Stakes and instead run in the Easy Goer on Saturday, per racing manager Anthony Bonomo Jr. Field now 14.

Three-year-olds used to run in a 1 1/8 stakes race (the Colin) on Belmont Stakes Day. It was nice when a quality horse like Fly So Free -- clearly not cut out for 12 furlongs -- could race in (and win, if memory serves) on Belmont Stakes Day.

Fly So Free won the Riva Ridge, now called the Woody Stephens ( they finally smartened up and turned him back ).

I see that he won the Riva Ridge at 1/2 over Formal Dinner in '91.

Wasn't there a Colin Stakes for three year olds at 1 1/8 on Belmont Stakes Day in the past?

yes

Super excited for Palace Malice's win, but this Triple Crown season definitely belonged to Oxbow.

What a tough horse.

If Pletcher had to win, I'm glad it wasn't with on of the Clown Shows horses!

What a tough horse.

If you are hinted that Oxbow ran better than PM today, I would disagree.
But you may not be at all..

I think she means overall. Palace Malice was the better horse on Saturday. Oxbow was likely the best horse overall. And I agree with that sentiment.
