That was ATROCIOUS roughing the passer call on the play that was intercepted. They should just call it flag football if that was a penalty.

Kentucky will never be a serious football team. They have a cadaver leading them.

Mortimer 11-16-2008 12:16 AM

Coach..and I hate to say it..but you stink.

Coach Pants 11-16-2008 12:18 AM

It's hard for them to ever be. They're in the toughest spot possible in CFB and their recruiting base is tiny compared to the monsters to their north, south, and east. Not to mention you have the underlying tradition that UK is a "basketball school". On top of that, half of their in-state recruits end up going to the 'Ville since they have better facilities and a better shot at a big bowl. Since my significant other has a degree from UK I'm kind of forced to watch them but I don't think they'll ever be consistently at the top of the SEC.

The Philski is going to marry a hillbilly?

Philski...it's been a while and I was pretty young, but spent too much time in Louisville not to know what those women are like.

New York girls don't work for ya?

Mortimer 11-16-2008 01:15 AM

But seriously.Anyone know if Coach--I mean Mike Warren has ever invaded this site? He use to do that at drf all the time....had many pleasant exchnages with him.

I just can't believe he hasn't been here.

Mortimer 11-16-2008 01:26 AM

Philski has left the premises.

So has Dala.

Define being "on the cusp"... beating up on Big Easy teams? They were very good for a while, but not really national title contenders... keeping in mind I'm a Big East guy.

She's a Californian... UCLA undergrad. But they don't teach horsey training classes out in fancy Cali :p She's the best. Dala can vouch for me on this one... the only winner I've ever picked in my life.

i wonder how long petrino can rest on his louisville laurels? they made out while their competition was less than stellar those years he was there, but then he had his debacle in atlanta (and boy are they so much better this year without him!) and now his horrid season in arkansas. too soon to call him overrated as a coaching mastermind?
