Moi doesn't seem to be in this thread.

What's the matter with you?

Mortimer 04-22-2008 11:27 AM

I believe Sissy is pitching tonight.

The Tribe,in a temporary move, has called up 12 relief pitchers.

Mortimer 04-23-2008 08:22 AM

This could only happen to us.

Sissy goes 6 and gives up no runs ( came in with 13.50 era)...the punchless line up produces 15 runs......and the guy who didn't even play goes on the dl. ...who happens to be one of our few reliable guys this year.

I suppose Smuther will win the derby now.

Mortimer 04-24-2008 09:34 PM

This Wedgieism..too:

FG has been struggling at the plate...young ,talented guy. We wonder how you can send Fransisco down and go wth the left fielders from hell.

So Fransisco gets called up...FG just had 3 hits and 3 rbi last game......so what does Wedgie do?

Fransisco starts ( :) )...but so does Michaels ( ).....and FG sits ( ).

Nothing to do with it...you baboon.

It's all about young player developement and how a manager handles them.

This is where Wedge is truly an imbecile.

Well that one you will have to explain as I'm sure your head became unscrewed and you forgot where you put it.

not the one's I've talked to

sissy struck out what..20 the other night? Detroit is scoring 10 a game? I'm not sure this is the time for Wedgie to be evaluating/nurturing young talent.

unless you feel Brett Michaels is a total loss, but when I see him play he looks, well...not that bad? But that's only against the Sox so..

Now I know why the baboons objected.

Listen closely-----Michaels is a total loss.

Sissy struck out 11....close, but no night out with Bill.

Detroits run production has to do with FG's developement as a ml hitter.....in what way? Wedgie ( finally) decided that the best defensive outfielder in the Cleveland system should be a starter.

You don't yo-yo this kind of player in the first month....having made the decision you did.

Say...does the name Brandon Phillips do anything for ya?

WTF is wrong with Victory Martinez, he really needs to hit some HR's Morty. I have him in HR Derby and he is my ANCHOR!!!

I know...I'm having a good run...J-honey nearly single-handedly takes out the Yankees on Friday with 4 two out rbi!!! (it was hgh heaven with Pettite and Byrd opposing each other!) Sabathia finally does something going 6 shutout against the Royals and James shooting something like 54 percent from the field in postseason (the game thursday didn't bother me one bit. a sweep by that team was certainly nothing anyone expected...and a 7 game series win is about all I was hoping for...still on track for that at least with a 2-1 lead.) good times in Cleveland for now at least!! Pretty awesome I'd say!!

Mortimer 04-26-2008 09:26 AM

Don't ya just hate well scrubbed, bubbly faces?

BLECH.

horseofcourse 04-27-2008 01:35 AM

Correct me if I'm wrong gentleman, but I don't see many games out here in the wilderness...but the game yesterday happened to be on the TV, and in the top of the 9th inning I saw the leadoff guy for the Yankees hit one and someone fielded it ranging far to his right in the hole and made a perfect one hop throw across his body to Casey Blake nailing the quick backup infielder for the Yankees. After reading what I read on here, I must admit I think I'm going blind because reading what I read on here what I saw in the top of the
9th never happens at Progressive field or on any field in America or the Dominican Republic, or anywhere. Am I really going blind?? After this play was made, the next two Yankees got base hits, meaning the defensive play of this individual played a key role in winning the game?? Am I really blind?? Did this really happen?? Or am I just the luckiest person in America to happen to see the one Indian game where an un-named individual did something that two people on here have made it quite apparent he can't do...on multiple occasions they have proclaimed it so. I thought I'd mention it as I am quite certain two individuals who post on here would never, ever mention what happened in the top of the 9th inning as an event that actually happened.

Mortimer 04-27-2008 09:15 AM

I didn't see any of the game.

I can't afford a tv is why.

But I can't discuss Here's Jhonny with you. ...you think he's a swell defensive ss and I think he's from hell defensively.Let others decide.

Storm Cadet 04-27-2008 11:32 AM

There's more Indians stuff here than in the Cleveland Plains Dealer!

Mortimer 04-27-2008 01:25 PM

That's because they let Terry Neptune talk about 78 different things in his 25 alloted columns.

I don't know what that is,but he's a 20-25 guy. Not a premier power hitter.

No, I never said swell. I said he is an average to slightly above average defensive shortstop is what I said...a far cry from hell defensively. His defense is rarely....if ever a hindrance to the team's winning. I do agree that Cabrera would certainly be a better full time "defensive" player at the position by a lot. At worst, however, I think Peralta is a .270/ 20-25 home run guy...so he'd have to be "really" bad defensively to send him away...and he simply isn't a "really" bad defensive player despite your's and Bid's ramblings.
