And most of them still will, Euro. There are a few that I don't have a ton of respect for, though and that's only because their act gets really old after a few nights out. LOL :p

My fav driver to hang out with was Jimmy Spencer. Man, that man is a riot and funny. I also like hanging out with Jeff Burton. He could be a stand up comedian.

Jeff is cool... I've never hung out with Jimmy Spencer. Met him once, but he's never gone out with us.

Thank God you guys aren't naming anyone that rubs me the wrong way. :D

Cajun, I think I know who some of these people are, but I am not going to go there. :)

Probably a good thing because I don't think I've ever seen anyone get nasty with a fan before, so I can't hold that against them. Well, maybe one time...

The best is when you are at the same place with two drivers who hate each other. Boy, they dont hold much back.

No, they sure don't... luckily, most of them are pretty good friends off the track. Interesting that you like Nascar too... I was in Daytona on Tuesday for testing... Jeff Gordon, Jeremy Mayfield, Juan Pablo Montoya, Denny Hamlin and Ryan Newman looked to have decent race cars for Daytona. Jeremy's toyota is the only one I'd take a chance with right now because most of the Toyota's are having some problems with horsepower. It's going to take them about half of the season to get those issues worked out...

slotdirt 01-18-2007 09:29 AM

Cajun....probably headed to the 'Ville. Martinsville, that is. Are you actually friends with all of these guys?

Cajun, I LOVE car racing. Always have since I was little. I grew up going to the INDY 500. I got interested in NASCAR when I was 10. I think it will be about 3 years before Toyota really gets it going. Toyota will not be welcomed by NASCAR fans--lol. I wish I was down there for testing. Testing is just as much fun as the race.

different strokes euro. i think my secretarys boyfriend is an ass and a moron. she seems to like him just fine tho....so i don't know i'd go around bashing him by name. opinions being what they are, you're entitled to yours--but i don't necessarily agree with you being so adamant about it on here.

A few of them, Slot... my ex boyfriend is Michael Waltrip's crew chief in the cup series. We're still friends and we all hang out when they're in town. Martinsville is a great track... have you ever been? Richmond is probably my fave on the circuit.

If I recall eurobounce also said he liked Baffert, how did he and Jill meet again?

slotdirt 01-18-2007 09:51 AM

Sweet! What is he doing now? Mikey's got his own deal now. I'm guessing those Toyotas struggle this year. If you ever get M-ville pit passes, you know I"m your best friend, right?

I have to agree with Richmond. I have been to the Saturday night race for the past 2 years. It is by far my fav race of the year.

LOL, sure thing. :D

Their car was slow as molasses... he says that they're having some issues with keeping the horsepower consistent and they need to work on some aero concerns. Mikey seemed pretty happy, though... Toyota is willing to throw a lot of money at the teams. They don't like to look bad. It wouldn't surprise me to see one of the Toyota teams getting a win this season, but probably not until the second half of the season.
