Ole' Kev is back in the work force :D :D
Drove to Richmond for an interview yesterday and I thought it went really well. The District Manager I interviewed with said that he would contact me the start of next week.
Instead.....the Human Resource lady at corporate headquarters just phoned me and said that the gentleman that interviewed me yesterday was very impressed and didn't want to wait until next week...they wanted to offer it to me NOW.

What will you be doing now?
I will be doing the only thing I know how to do....Golf Professional. I will be in the retail side now as opposed to working at an actual golf course.
Translated that means I will be working 40 hours per week as opposed to the 60 hours a week I used to work.

If you're going to be on the road at all, you are going to need a mobile internet connection in your car.
I also strongly advise you check out the possibility of getting a satallite dish for your vehicle.
They're lucky to land you. Good luck.

Can't think of a better topic to make my first post in quite some time....congrats buddy....since I haven't posted in here in quite awhile, many of you probably don't know me, but let me say this....whether it was the old board over on ESPN, this board, emails, or phone calls, Kev was a true friend when I needed it most. Like you often said to me buddy, good things happen to good people and I'm glad you got yours! Congrats!!!
Now is our girl gonna pull it off tomorrow? :)

B. Not gonna be on the road alot, thank God. I am gonna have to buy a printer for my laptop, as I found out that they don't deliver the DRF to the OTB that is out there:mad:

They are sending me to another store for 1 week training the week of the 16th. After that week, I will start at my store.
We do have to get together...no doubt.

Thanks buddy....haven't seen you around much.
I was working on the Devil Rays grounds crew after my day job with the police.
Now that the Rays' season is done I have more time. 10 game home stands sucked. I'm not going back to the Rays until after I get back from the Breeders Cup. Then I have no idea what I'll do until the season starts again. I'd offer to do some landscaping but I work at the po po during the day. I should be around a little more now.
Glad to hear that you got a gig that you wanted. I'd love to go full time with the Rays but they just dont pay much (I do it for the love of baseball).
