Well, the mighty Dewey has struck out. Deweycheatumnhowe suffered his first loss (http://torontosun.com/Sports/OtherSports/2008/09/07/6687676-sun.html) last night at Mohawk, losing in the final few yards to Crazed, who came home in 1:54.4 (VIDEO) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdLe4OKBSvM). Both are eligible for next weekend's $1 million Canadian Trotting Classic.
Somebeachsomewhere extended his career mark (http://www.ustrotting.com/absolutenm/anmviewer.asp?a=28827) to 15 wins in 16 starts in the second division of the Simcoe Stakes (VIDEO) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6LNP9aRp3Vo), also at Mohawk, last night. SBSW is still a great loss for the Little Brown Jug, as the star pacer is only being pointed at Canadian stakes races for the time being.
Also, the 3YO pacing filly Mya Tri extended her career mark (http://www.ustrotting.com/absolutenm/anmviewer.asp?a=28820&z=1)to 21 for 21 at Indiana Downs last night in a $100,000 Indiana Sire Stakes race.
