Sunday these einsteins somehow let the same horse race twice. They then proceed to issue a statement saying it was an honest mistake. then trainer, groom, track id'er, should all be suspended and fired. What a complete joke, and they wonder why people dont show or give a **** about this game anymore.

what dont you get? a horse raced in a early race, was then bathed, cooled out, then by "mistake" brought back to the paddock and was put in a later race. where do you think he finished?

Watch the races from the Delaware County Fair on Sep. 18. Granted they are all running multiple races, but they will also put in very close fractions in their later heats.

I really don't understand what happened, though. Was the horse entered twice, and the stews didn't let them/make them scratch, or was the wrong horse brought back to run later? If so, that is a mistake on so many more levels.

he was brought back on "accident" they let the wrong horse race. everyone involved should be fired or suspended. Many yrs ago it happened at Nfld Park, believe it or not it happened 3 weeks in a row with the same horse.

This goes far beyond a "stupid mistake" to cheating the public.
