Jesus, Bombs away. I have a question, why is there no recall rule for breakers at the Meadowlands. The 2 was never on gait, do they only recall for interference?

I know that the 9 was 4/5 and probably much the best, but if you look in the dictionary for the definition of a perfect trip / drive, that was it. Textbook from the 9 slot! No wonder he is breking every record.

Do they even have a recall rule in affect anymore at the Meadowlands?

I am sure they have one, but it only has to do with interference, equipment malfunction and a horse in the wrong spot. I used to think that there was something called a recall pole, and if a horse broke before the pole, there would be a recall. I know they have recalls for breakers at yonkers, but at the big M if a horse breaks they are out of luck. Maybe they only have the rule at the short tracks, I just do not know.
No recall for breaking horses.
Only 6 reasons for recalls
1-horse scores ahead of the gate
2-interference
3-horse has broken equipment
4-something wrong with starting gate
5-horse falls before "go"
6-horse comes to gate out of position
